Taking into account the holding of Euro 2012 in Ukraine there is a growth market of public tender relating to the construction of infrastructure for the European football championship (stadiums, hotels, roads, electrical substations, etc.)
In order to avoid of abuse in the market of government tenders, to creation of competitive environment and to prevent corruption, the national administration has introduced legislatorial mechanisms of regulation of procurement process. Over the past five years, legislation and, accordingly, the rules in government procurements have changed several times. The existing law of public procurement contains a provision on equal participation in procurement process, both domestic and foreign manufacturers, creating a competitive environment and providing efficient use of public funds.
